My family really isn't a bunch of big spenders. One of the things we always skimp on are pillows. We go for the $5 pillows at WalMart, and feel pretty darn lucky when we can find one for $2.50. But the problem with that is they squish really quickly, and less than 6 months later we're needing to buy new ones. A review opportunity with Maggie's Direct came at just the right time! They sent a European Synthetic Medium Fill pillow for my husband and I to review. I was actually content with my body pillow still, so I told my husband that after I tried it for a night, he could have it since his pillow is just about ready to jump off of the bed in an attempt to end its own misery.

The European Synthetic Medium Fill pillow is a is found in their Hotel Collection. If you've ever had the chance to stay at a 4 or 5 star hotel you already know how awesome pillows can really be. This pillow was so soft it felt like laying your head on a cloud. I was a little surprised that the medium fill was more like what I would expect the soft fill to feel like, but it was still glorious. I use it as a second pillow because it doesn't have too much bulk, but there's still enough fill in it to use it by itself. I just need to stop being lazy and find an actual pillowcase for it. The fabric is soft, but without the pillowcase it's a little noisy. I'm going to be so sad when I wear this one out.

The pillow is a 230 thread count and is made from a soft cotton/polyester blend fabric. It's hypoallergenic, and the fill is designed to feel like down. Another great quality is that the pillow is Oeko-Tex certified, which means it is FREE of any and all harmful chemicals. Woohoo!
